Criminology graduates possess valuable critical thinking, analytical and communications skills, which are essential for a range of jobs in the criminal justice sector and beyond. Teachers in the department bring differing backgrounds in psychology, sociology, media and law, which all form an integral part of our Criminology course, and these are all areas in which students can continue their studies at Degree level.

Every subject at Xaverian develops skills that go beyond the classroom. Based on the Skills Builder Framework, a nationally recognised tool for building essential skills, here are the three this course focuses on.
